(Matthew 24:4-14 HCSB)

What does the end of the world have to do with "Germany's Next TopModel"? How we should behave as Christians is as simple as watching the latest trends on the fashion catwalk. Models walk on the catwalk to show us the latest fashion - in a desire for us to follow their example. "Wear what I am wearing" they tell you. You and I are like the people that are watching the models. We see all kinds of different models walk the catwalk. But we do nothing else but watch. It is like a show.
In a sense, this is what Jesus is asking us to do. Jesus never told us to predict who is walking on the catwalk. He just told us to watch. He told us to talk to the other people around us about Him (this is the meaning of the phrase - the gospel of this kingdom will be preached). But to the people who walk down the catwalk, we are just told to watch what happens. Don't listen to their trendy advice, don't follow their example. Just watch them walk down the catwalk until the last one - Jesus Christ - comes down the catwalk. He will be the last trend-setter, and the most important faith fashion model that we are to follow.
